Terms of Use
Last updated August 24, 2026 · Published by Cuyahoga Valley Mindful Health and Wellness LLC (CVMHW)
By using FeelingsHelper you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable rather than lawyerly, and the most important one comes first: this site is educational self-help, not health care.
This is not therapy, diagnosis, or crisis care
FeelingsHelper provides free psychoeducational worksheets, skills practice, and guided reflection. It cannot assess, diagnose, treat, or cure any mental-health or behavioral condition. It is not counseling, not online therapy, not an AI therapist, and not a treatment program. Using it does not create a clinician–client, counselor–patient, or any other professional relationship with Eric Riesterer, LPCC, with Cuyahoga Valley Mindful Health and Wellness LLC (CVMHW), or with anyone else. Always consult a qualified professional about your own situation.
In a crisis, do not use this site
If you or someone else is in danger, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) in the United States, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency department. This app cannot monitor you, cannot detect risk, cannot alert anyone, and cannot coordinate emergency care.
Who may use it
- Adults may use Adults Mode independently.
- Kids & Teens Mode is written for roughly ages 9–21 and is intended for use with a parent, guardian, educator, or clinician available. Children under 13 should use it only with adult supervision.
- Therapists, school counselors, and caregivers may use it as an adjunct between sessions, exercising their own professional judgment about fit.
- Do not use the site to attempt to provide clinical services to others or to substitute it for a required standard of care.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to break, overload, abusively scrape, or interfere with the site or its availability.
- Do not present the site, or content copied from it, as therapy, as a clinical assessment, or as your own work product for sale.
- Do not rely on it for legal, medical, educational-placement, custody, or employment decisions.
Your content stays yours
Anything you write in a companion belongs to you and stays on your device. We do not receive it, claim any license to it, or moderate it, because we never see it. That also means we cannot restore, export, or recover it for you.

No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Psychoeducational content is general in nature and may not fit your circumstances.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cuyahoga Valley Mindful Health and Wellness LLC and Eric Riesterer are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of, or inability to use, this free site — including lost entries, reliance on general educational content, or decisions made after using a worksheet.
Changes and availability
Tools, copy, and these terms may change or be withdrawn at any time. Material changes to these terms will carry a new effective date on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
